Zelensky says there will be "more defense packages" in the near future
Ukraine expects to receive enhanced defense capabilities from its allies in the near future, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said.
He emphasized the active cooperation of the international bloc with partners to obtain new defense packages, considering the possibility of increasing the protection of airspace and traffic on the ground. However, he did not specify which countries are expected to provide support.
Zelenskyy noted that the Ukrainian side will not retreat before the occupiers, emphasizing the need to return freedom, security, and Europeanness to all Ukrainian territory. He claims that there will be no place for tyranny on Ukrainian soil.
Recently, there have been discussions about a possible counteroffensive by Ukraine. In April, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg noted that operational decisions, such as a new offensive, should be made by the Ukrainian military on the ground, as they understand the situation best.
