Chief of the DIU Budanov: Russians will have to pay for the war for a long time
The Russian population will have to bear responsibility for the war for a long time: economic, reputational and political.
This view was expressed by the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Major General Kyrylo Budanov, according to the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
In addition, all wartime criminals must be punished.
"Unceremonious scumbags, brutal rapists, wartime criminals are deservedly punished anywhere in the world. The only appropriate response to such crimes is their physical elimination. I do not consider any other options. This is my own position, which I am guided by and which I plan to implement," said Major General Kirill Budanov.

In an interview for the Antipodes project, Major General Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, clarified what he meant by "killing Russians anywhere in the world."
He stated that this applies exclusively to war criminals. The quote about killing Russians, which was disseminated by the media, was incomplete and taken out of context.
During an interview with Yahoo News, the journalist mentioned a number of murders of Russian propagandists and asked for a comment from the head of the GUR.
