The administration of U.S. President Joe Biden does not plan to follow the example of the United Kingdom in sending long-range missiles to Ukraine.
This is reported by Politico.
The publication notes that the United States considers this problem to be solved by the planned delivery from the United Kingdom.
London intends to send Kyiv missiles with a range of 300 km.
This is the same range as the army's tactical missile system known as ATACMS, which Washington has refused to give to Ukraine.
Politico quoted a U.S. official as saying that "our policy on ATACMS has not changed." Instead, he said that the United States will continue to provide Ukraine with Patriot systems, ammunition and armored vehicles.
