Russians strike Kharkiv city and region, injuring 5 people

On September 2, Russian forces dropped a guided aerial bomb on Ruska Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast and targeted the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv, injuring five civilians.

Details: Syniehubov added that the Russians hit the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv.

"At this moment there are no injuries. A car was damaged. The investigation continues," he added.

The mayor of the city, Ihor Terekhov, later stated that four women were injured as a result of the attack on the Kyivskyi district. Syniehubov also reported that garages were on fire in the area of the attack. 

Updated: At 15:58, Terekhov said that the attack had hit a densely populated residential neighbourhood.

Background: On the night of 31 August – 1 September, the Russians launched two attacks on the village of Slatyne in Kharkiv Oblast, as a result of which 6 people were injured, including a pregnant woman.
