Details: Zhelezniak said that during a series of personnel changes voted on by the government, the issue of dismissing Foreign Minister Kuleba was "urgently postponed".

The reason for the delay is currently not specified.

Background:

  • On the morning of 4 September, Kuleba submitted his resignation letter. The ruling Servant of the People party stated that they saw no reason for the Foreign Minister's resignation.
  • Ukrainska Pravda sources said that Olha Stefanishyna, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, is reportedly being considered to replace Denys Maliuska as Ukraine’s Justice Minister. As a result, Stefanishyna will vacate her current position.
  • On 4 September, Davyd Arakhamiia, leader of the Servant of the People faction, announced a 'major government reboot,' during which 'more than 50% of the Cabinet's staff' would be replaced.
