Quote: "I’ve just spoken to Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Our forces have advanced 1 to 3 km in Kursk Oblast, taking control of two more settlements. Intense fighting is ongoing to capture another settlement. The exchange pool has been replenished."

Details: Zelenskyy noted that he had also discussed defensive actions of Ukrainian forces in Donetsk Oblast with Syrskyi.

"Most attention is paid to Novohrodivka and Vodiane, where the Russians are carrying out most of the assaults," Zelenskyy said.
