Ukraine's Security Service searches monastery of Russian-linked Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Kyiv – UP source, photo

On 18 September, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) searched the Sviato-Vvedenskyi Monastery of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) in the Pecherskyi district of the city of Kyiv.

Details: The source reports that SSU operatives have been conducting searches in the Sviato-Vvedenskyi Monastery since the morning.

The investigative actions are related to suspicion of spreading Kremlin propaganda and supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine by churchmen.
