Quote: "In accordance with valid legislation, the head of the staff of the command of the Unmanned Systems Forces is appointed by the Minister of Defence, based on a submission filed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This procedure does not provide for obligatory additional check-ups or coordination with the Security Service and is an internal personnel decision of the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Therefore, the Security Service has not received any corresponding requests and has not conducted the check-up of Roman Hladkyi before appointing him as the head of the staff of the Command of the Unmanned Systems Forces."
