Elderly woman injured in Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

The Russians have opened fire on a village in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, injuring a 67-year-old woman in her courtyard.

Details: The Russians struck the village of Mala Tokmachka. A woman, 67, sustained shrapnel wounds to her left shoulder.

Emergency responders from the State Emergency Service treated the injured woman and transported her to hospital.

Fedorov said that the Russian forces carried out 139 artillery strikes at Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachkya, Malynivka and Levadne on 12 September.

Background: Russian forces also targeted Zaporizhzhia Oblast's energy facilities. An overhead power line was damaged in the hostilities.
