Quote: "On the night of 24–25 November (since 18:30 on 24 November) the occupiers deployed Shahed attack drones and other unidentified types of drones to attack Ukraine from Orel, Kursk, Millerovo and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation and temporarily occupied territories in Crimea.
Over the course of this period, the Air Force’s air surveillance troops detected and tracked 145 enemy drones.
As of 11:00, air defence shot down 71 enemy drones in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts.
Another 71 drones disappeared from radar, likely because of Russian electronic warfare systems; one drone crossed into Belarusian airspace."
Details: Over the course of 24 November, Russian forces deployed different types of drones, glide bombs and Kh-59/69 air-to-surface missiles in a repeat strike on Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Air Force warns that in light of changing Russian drone use tactics, reporting of Ukrainian air defence operations might also change.
Previously, Shahed drone attacks always took place during nighttime, when it was dark outside. Now Russia is also deploying drone strikes during the day.
