Prigozhin promises Russians to take Kyiv if he becomes commander-in-chief

The head of the Wagner PMC, Yevhen Prygozhyn, promises the Russians that if he is appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Armed Forces, he will be able to take Kyiv in less than two weeks.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In a conversation with a Russian acquaintance, the occupier said that Prigozhyn, if elected commander-in-chief, promised to take Kyiv in 12 days.

In addition, during the conversation, the men were outraged that the leadership knew where Russian soldiers from the Volunteer Corps and the Freedom of Russia Legion were entering the Belgorod region, but did not warn their soldiers who were defending the Russian border there.

One of the Russians spoke about the poor provision of territorial defense in the Belgorod region, which, according to the interlocutor, has nothing to shoot at.

Wagner Private Military Company

The Wagner PMC is fighting on the side of the Russian Federation under the leadership of Prigozhin. Their main forces have been concentrated in the Bakhmut area for more than 10 months, but to no avail. Despite desperate attempts by the Russians, they have not yet succeeded in taking the city.

We reported that recently, a conflict arose between the head of the Wagner PMC and the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry after the ministry banned Prigozhin from recruiting prisoners to his "army." At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense began to do this under the guise of a private military company that is directly linked to the Minister of Defense.
