Ukrainian Armed Forces hold defense near Avdiivka and storm Russians south of Bakhmut, - General Staff

The offensive in the areas of Avdiivka, Tonenke and Pervomayske in Donetsk region was unsuccessful for the occupants. Five enemy attacks were repelled in this area.
According to the General Staff, as of the morning of October 31, Ukrainian troops continue to conduct defense in the east and south, and offensive operations in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions. There were 36 combat engagements over the past day.
