Russian military continue to conduct unsuccessful offensives in two directions. At the same time, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the invaders in the Mariupol sector."

Enemy attacks

During the day, the enemy launched five missile and 44 air strikes, fired 17 attacks from multiple rocket launchers at the positions of our troops and settlements.

As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed.

The probability of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Situation at the frontline

26 combat engagements took place over the last day. The situation in the Volyn and Polissia sectors remained unchanged. The situation in the Siversky and Slobozhansky sectors remained unchanged. The enemy fired mortar and artillery shells at more than 15 localities, including Karpovychi, Bleshnya in Chernihiv region; Kostiantynivka, Myropilske, Popivka in Sumy region; Vilcha, Loshakove, Hatyshche, Okhrymivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kup’yansky direction the enemy launched an air strike near Kyslivka, Kharkiv region. Kucherivka, Petropavlivka and Kyslivka in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In the Liman sector the enemy launched air strikes near Bilohorivka, Serebryanske forestry in Luhansk region and Terniv in Donetsk region. About 10 localities came under enemy artillery fire, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Verkhnekam'yanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives in areas north of Bohdanivka, north and south of Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region. He conducted an air strike near Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region. More than 10 localities suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Klishchiyivka, Bila Hora, Bohdanivka in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka sector, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Karlivka in Donetsk region came under artillery fire. Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back Russian troops' offensive in the vicinity of Marinka, Donetsk region. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region. The localities of Krasnohorivka, Mar’yinka, Pobeda, Katerynivka, Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Shakhtarsk sector the enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain the lost position in the area of Urozhayne. He launched an air strike in the area of Velyka Novosilka. Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Blahodatne, Urozhayne in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia region. More than 15 localities suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Novodarivka, Poltavka, Malynivka, Gulyaypole, Novodanylivka, Kam'yanske in Zaporizhzhya region.

In the Kherson sector, more than 10 localities suffered from enemy artillery shelling, including Tokarivka, Dudchany, Veletenske in Kherson region.

Counter-offensive actions

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations at the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidate the achieved lines, and carry out counter-battery measures.

Enemy losses

Ukrainian aviation conducted seven strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment and one on an anti-aircraft missile system.
