Details: The UK Ministry of Defence cites recently disclosed information that about 10,000 DPRK troops are already in Russia, and some of them are "almost certainly" deployed in Kursk Oblast.
"Russian and DPRK forces would almost certainly experience interoperability difficulties having not previously carried out joint military exercises," the review says.
Among other things, the DPRK troops will "almost certainly" have problems with the use of Russian equipment, integration into the Russian command and control structure, and overcoming the language barrier with Russian troops.
Background:
- Estonian intelligence also stated that the participation of North Korean units on the Ukrainian battlefield will not bring much change so far, and they are likely to suffer heavy losses.
- The United States recently announced that there are already about 8,000 North Korean troops in Kursk Oblast, who may be involved in active hostilities in the coming days.
- In addition, Mike Turner, Chairman of the US House Intelligence Committee, believes that the United States and NATO allies should consider launching an attack directly against North Korean troops if they are on Ukrainian territory and take part in hostilities on the Kremlin's side.
