Zelenskyy meets with British and Italian prime ministers before G7
Today, on May 20, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Italian Prime Minister George Meloni.
This was reported by the President's Office.
It is known that the meeting took place in Japan, where Zelensky arrived on May 20 for the G7 summit. Zelenskyy and Sunak discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during the president's visit to Britain on May 14.
"We discussed the further implementation of the agreements reached during the talks in the UK on May 14. We talked about the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and the UK and coordinated our positions on the eve of participation in the Group of Seven summit," the statement said.
The President also met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Hiroshima. They discussed political support and the improvement of Ukraine's air defense, namely the training of Ukrainian pilots.
