Thousands of people gathered outside Georgia's Parliament in Tbilisi on the evening of 28 October to protest the announced results of the recent parliamentary elections, blocking the adjacent Rustaveli Avenue.

Details: Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili addressed the rally, stating that voters’ voices "had been stolen" in the election.

Media Ekho Kavkaza (Echo of the Caucasus) reported that Giorgi Vashadze, a leader from the opposition party Unity – National Movement, demanded a rerun of the elections under international supervision.
Earlier today, protesters gathered near Parliament jeering Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, who arrived in Tbilisi to meet with Georgian authorities.
