New Ukrainian brigade of 4,500 soldiers completes training in France – France's General Staff – video

Details: France released a video showcasing the training and stressed that this is the first Ukrainian brigade to be trained and equipped in France under the EU military training mission for Ukraine.
Background:
- Before that, reports indicated that the brigade had completed its training in France.
- On 9 October, French President Emmanuel Macron visited Ukrainian military personnel from the 155th Brigade who are undergoing training in France’s eastern region of Grand Est and wished them success.
- The EU has recently extended the mandate of the EU military training mission to train Ukrainian soldiers for two years, with more than €400 million earmarked for it.
