Operational situation in the area of responsibility - OC "South"

The situation in the critical area remains critical. The efforts of our troops in the south are focused on counter-battery actions.

As of this morning, the enemy naval grouping in the Black Sea numbers 12 ships, including missile carriers. The submarine is now accompanied by a surface frigate. Both ships were subsequently sent to their home ports. A small missile ship with 8 Kalibr missiles entered the Sea of Azov for the first time during the war, where it is keeping watch, possibly to protect the Kerch Bridge. 

The enemy does not stop attacking the right bank. At night, a pair of Su-35s attacked two KAB-500s near Stanislav. Two civilians were injured and two private houses were destroyed. 

One of the educational institutions in Kherson was also heavily hit at night. A fire broke out on an area of more than 3,200 m², which was quickly localized, and the debris is being cleared. So far, it is known that no people were injured, but the building was seriously damaged. 

Over the past day, the intensity of the shelling increased: 97 cases of shelling were recorded, with about 440 shells used. As a result of the shelling, one civilian was killed, another was wounded, and two policemen were injured. More than a dozen buildings - residential houses, social facilities and outbuildings - were damaged and destroyed. 

While trying to dismantle an enemy shell in Beryslav district, an explosion killed 5 civilians. Another civilian was injured when the tractor he was working on hit a mine. Our aviation carried out 3 strikes on enemy air defense positions and a military depot in Skadovsk district.

Our air defense forces destroyed 3 enemy operational and tactical drones. In total, thanks to the effective work of our missile and artillery units, enemy losses amounted to 10 soldiers, 5 boats, 1 T-72/62 tank, and 7 units of armored vehicles. The threat of missile and drone attacks continues to exist, as well as the danger of mines on land and at sea.
