Russia is looking for someone to blame for its defeats in the war
The DIU has found the reason for the public conflict between the owner of the Wagner PMC, Yevhen Pryhodzhyn, and Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.
Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated this reason on the GUR Telegram channel.
Yusov noted that public conflicts between the owner of the so-called Wagner PMC Prygozhyn and the Minister of Defense of the aggressor state Shoigu and the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army Gerasimov indicate their fear of responsibility for the inevitable geopolitical defeat of Muscovy.
According to a representative of Ukraine's military intelligence, the odious leaders of the Russian occupation forces are now under stress and confusion caused by the uncertainty of their future after the removal of Russian dictator Putin and Russia's final defeat in the war.
"None of these three are willing to take responsibility, which is why they have started looking for the fringe. And now Shoigu, Gerasimov and Prygozhin are determining among themselves who will be guilty," summarized Andriy Yusov.
As a reminder, Prygozhin criticized the statements of representatives of the Russian General Staff regarding the regrouping in the Bakhmut direction. According to the owner of the Russian mercenary army, it is not a regrouping, but a banal flight from positions.
Western intelligence agencies have recorded that during localized counterattacks near Bakhmut, the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to break through some of the Russian occupiers' lines. The successful actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the area increased panic in the Russian information space amid rumors of planned Ukrainian counteroffensives.
