Russian foreign minister complains about Turkish weapons "killing Russian soldiers" in Ukraine
Sergei Lavrov, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, expressed regret that Türkiye continues its military supplies to Ukraine.

Details: Lavrov expressed gratitude to Türkiye’s efforts "to help resolve the Ukrainian crisis [the war – ed.]," mentioning in particular the so-called "peace agreements" in Istanbul in March 2022 (which, according to him, were "undermined by the Anglo-Saxons").
Quote: "Regrettably, Ankara continues its military-technical cooperation with the [Kyiv] regime. Türkish weapons are being used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces to kill Russian soldiers and civilians," Lavrov added.
According to him, this cannot but cause surprise given the Turkish leadership's declarations about the willingness of mediation between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
Türkiye criticised Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine from the start and gave military and humanitarian aid to Kyiv.
At the same time, Ankara has not suspended economic cooperation with Moscow or joined international sanctions against it, despite US attempts to gradually close loopholes to avoid its limits.
In September, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described his country's relations with Russia as multifaceted and said they will continue to grow.
