Two elderly women killed in Russian strike on Kherson
Russian forces have bombarded the city of Kherson with artillery, leaving two elderly women dead.

Details: Prokudin noted that a residential building in the city's Dniprovskyi district had been hit.
Quote: "Sadly, we have fatalities. Two elderly women sustained fatal injuries. They were inside the house when the attack happened."
More details: Kherson Oblast Military Administration reported that another person had been injured in the bombardment. A woman, 42, was diagnosed with blast injuries, contusion and bruised chest. She was taken to hospital for medical care.
Background: On the night of 11-12 October, Russian forces struck one of Kherson's microdistricts, causing a fire to break out in warehouses and an open storage area for industrial waste.
