The Pentagon told what kind of military assistance Ukraine and Israel need
Ukraine and Israel need 155 mm artillery shells, but the United States and allies will be able to meet their needs.
This was stated by Pentagon spokesman General Patrick Ryder.
"We will be able to support Israel in meeting its needs. We will be able to support Ukraine with its needs as well," Ryder said.
The representative of the US Defense Department also emphasized that the situation on the battlefield in both countries is different, and in fact not many positions in the needs coincide.
"Yes, 155 mm is an area common to both. But speaking generally, it is only one small area. And we don't think there will be any problems with supplying both countries yet," he added.
According to him, the United States, as well as allies and partners, are increasing the production of shells of this caliber.
"Therefore, we are confident that we will eventually be able to meet these needs", - said the Pentagon representative.
