G7 leaders approve a plan to counter Russian energy pressure.

During the high-level meeting, the G7 leaders approved an action plan to neutralize the risks posed by Russia's "energy weapons".
this was stated in a joint statement by the G7 leaders.
"We are committed to working together to ensure that any attempts to use economic dependence as a means of pressure to force G7 members and our partners, including small economies, into submission will fail and have negative consequences," the statement reads.
The G7 leaders fundamentally condemn Russia's tactics of exploiting energy and economic dependence.
The Russian Federation has long been accused of using energy as a tool of pressure, as well as manipulating energy prices and supplies to gain political influence.
